Sweeney Ted was first set up in 2016 as an online store by Theodore Lee out of his desire to bring natural, quality men’s grooming products to Malaysia. Sweeney Ted exclusively carries and distributes O'Douds in Malaysia, an American personal grooming and hair styling brand from Houston, Texas that are second to none in producing natural "simple and effective products that are good for you and the earth."

Theodore, more popularly known as Ted, with his love for the art of men's haircutting subsequently established the barbering arm of Sweeney Ted in 2017 currently located at THE HUB @ SS2. The barbershop not only serves as a home for Sweeney Ted but a space where clients are welcomed to share it as their own.

Barbershop services are personal involving individually tailored haircuts and beard trims.
